Where We Stand
We believe that God is one God existing in three eternal and co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:1; Acts 5:3-4).
We believe that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh, being fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as payment for the sins of mankind, was buried and bodily rose from the dead on the third day. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father, caring for His people and leading the church (John 1:1-34; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Peter 2:21-25).
We believe all people are sinners in need of the Savior. Everyone fails in one way or another to live up to God's perfect standard of righteousness (Romans 3:23).
We believe that salvation and forgiveness of our sin is attained only through repentance, and faith in Jesus' death on the cross as payment for our sin. That forgiveness is God's free gift of grace to anyone who will receive it. All those who place their faith in Christ can have assurance that their salvation is eternally secure because of God's power and faithfulness (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:28-29; 1 John 5:11-13).
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and indwells all believers as our instructor, guide, and seal guaranteeing our redemption (John 14:26; Galatians 5:18).
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are given by inspiration of God, and are the infallible and inerrant rule of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is made up of all true believers in Christ, irrespective of color, race or denomination (1 Corinthians 12:13).
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead. The Church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before He appears to set up the final form of His kingdom (Revelation 20:11-15; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
